Live+Love+Laugh Beef Chili
LOCALLY GROWN CUISINE
On the stove top at medium heat cook Northern Classic Chili until the beans are fused with flavor for one and a half hours. Simply add two pounds of uncooked lean ground beef and four uncooked thinly sliced spicy sausages, stirring regularly.
Pour in a cup of tomato sauce, a can of tomato paste and two tablespoons of sugar. Mince a large uncooked onion and add to the sauce.
Cook for an additional hour stirring regularly.
Northern Classic Chili is low in sodium- add one teaspoon of salt to season to perfection. Add a splash of water if chili is dry.
When chili is thick and delicious ladle into a bowl and sprinkle with sharp shredded cheese, optional -serve with toast.
